US blockade of Iranian ports
The United States resumed its blockade of traffic to and from Iranian ports on 14 July, with subsequent official accounts of diversions, boardings and disabling fire. JMIC explicitly assessed continued enforcement on 27 September while distinguishing permitted neutral transit; that dated assessment supports the condition, not a complete closure of Hormuz.
