On 6 September 2026, an Israeli drone strike on a parking lot in Nabatieh al-Tahta (Lower Nabatieh), southern Lebanon, killed three people, according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health emergency operations center via the National News Agency (NNA), Anadolu Agency, France 24 (with AFP), and Shafaq News. NNA and AA said a drone fired on a vehicle near the Fakhr al-Din parking area in Nabatieh, setting vehicles ablaze; MoH counted the three deaths separately from the morning Arab Salim and Nabatieh al-Fawqa atomics already published. Shafaq timed MoH confirmation around 19:12 UTC Sunday evening; France 24’s AFP-based update said the ministry later added the parking-lot deaths to Sunday’s south Lebanon toll.

Why it matters

A MoH-anchored fatal drone strike on a Nabatieh al-Tahta parking lot is a distinct Sunday Lebanon casualty atomic, separate from already-live Arab Salim (2 women) and Nabatieh al-Fawqa (2 killed / Ghandour Hospital), and was soft-missed in the prior barrido on a wrong ~09Z timing read.

  • Fatalities: Best 3 · Confidence: Probable · Evidence: MoPH: Three martyrs in Nabatieh al-Tahta, 7 killed, over 20 injured in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon despite US deal, Lebanon president calls for US help as Israeli strikes kill 7, Three killed in Israeli strike on Nabatieh · MoH via NNA/AA/France 24/Shafaq: three killed at Nabatieh al-Tahta parking lot.
