CENTCOM said that as of 20 July US forces enforcing the renewed naval blockade on Iranian ports had redirected seven commercial vessels and disabled one, with amphibious assault ship USS Boxer supporting flight operations in the Arabian Sea.

The United States resumed a blockade of traffic entering and leaving Iranian ports on 14 July 2026. This package records a mid-campaign enforcement tally (seven redirected, one disabled) rather than each daily increment. Later tallies (for example eight or twelve redirected vessels) are treated as updates to the same ongoing operation unless a qualitatively new maritime incident is documented.

Verification: Confirmed

Evidence: US military says it redirected 7 vessels, disabled one under renewed Iran blockade, CENTCOM: Six vessels redirected, one disabled as part of Iran naval blockade
