An account of Sudan Times posted at 20:04 UTC on Monday 5 October 2026 said the Sudan Founding Alliance strongly condemned the Sudanese Armed Forces for a deliberate airstrike on a World Food Programme convoy in South Kordofan that killed a driver, and called for an independent international investigation and immediate action to protect relief workers. A second account posted a minute later said field reports attributed the attack to a drone of the Sudanese army and that one driver was killed. The strike and the death were reported by the World Food Programme on 4 October, which did not attribute it, so the attribution and the condemnation are the new material here. No Sudanese army statement was cited in either post.
