Al-Masirah, the Houthi-run outlet, reported on 5 October 2026 that Saudi aircraft returned to strike the al-Safra district with two raids, struck Al Salem district in another raid, and carried out three further raids on Sehar district, all in Saada governorate, Yemen. Its reporter posted the first two at 10:45 UTC and the Sehar raids at 10:41 UTC. The posts give no clock time for the raids themselves. Neither Saudi Arabia nor the internationally recognised Yemeni government confirmed these raids in the material reviewed.

Why it matters

The raids extend airstrike activity in Saada, a governorate on the Yemeni-Saudi border where fighting has continued alongside the government offensive announced on 4 October.
