On 3 October 2026 Lebanese outlets reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a violent airstrike on the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon, producing a loud blast heard across the area. Janoubia described continued Israeli escalation with artillery fire on Wadi al-Hajir, Wadi Zibqin and Wadi Hassan near Majdal Zoun, shelling of al-Mansouri, and large explosions in Majdal Zoun, Meis al-Jabal and Beit Lif. Al-Manar published a photo report of the Nabatieh al-Fawqa strike at about 06:24 local time. The retained material names no casualties. This strike is separate from the 2 October cluster of incidents around Mansouri, Beit Lif, Aitaroun and Majdal Zoun, from the 2 October artillery fire on Hadatha, Baraachit and Zibqin, and from the 30 September suspicious-object report in Nabatieh al-Fawqa.
