A Russian jet-powered drone struck an energy-infrastructure facility in the Korostyshiv community of Zhytomyr Oblast at about 16:00 local time on 18 October 2026, cutting electricity to part of the town and nearby settlements, Suspilne reported, citing acting community head Yurii Denysovets. He said there was no fire at the impact site and no casualties; power to most consumers had been restored by about 18:50.
