On 3 September 2026, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said fragments of a Russian drone fell onto a roadway in the Darnytsia (Darnytskyi) district. Mezha, citing Klitschko’s Telegram and the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported two people injured, including a 12-year-old child, and two cars damaged. The Kyiv Independent, also citing Klitschko and the city military administration, said debris damaged several cars and injured people in Darnytsia and that six people, including a 12-year-old girl, were injured as a result of the day’s attack on Kyiv. The 12-year-old’s injuries were not described.
