Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration said overnight Russian drone strikes on the city of Dnipro initially injured an 8-year-old girl and a 29-year-old woman, with the child hospitalized in moderate condition, and damaged a multi-storey residential building in one district while food warehouses, trucks and cars caught fire in another. In a 05:20 local update on 11 October 2026, OVA chief Oleksandr Hanzha said the injured count had risen to four, including two 8-year-old children; one girl remained hospitalized and the other three casualties (an 8-year-old girl, a 29-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man) received outpatient care (Ukrinform). Near dawn the OVA also reported a drone hit in a multi-storey building courtyard that damaged windows, balconies and cars with no dead or injured from that impact, and said air defence shot down 10 strike UAVs overnight over the oblast. This overnight city pin remains distinct from the 10 October Nikopol-district Pokrovske child fatality (evt_aae622dc) and from the earlier 10 October Dnipro-suburb municipal-vehicle fire (evt_7943c156).
