The conflict-monitoring account Clash Report posted on 4 October at about 12:23 UTC that Houthi forces reportedly seized the home of Yemeni Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani, south of Taiz, following clashes with government forces loyal to Yemen's Saudi-backed government. The post attaches a video that this audit retrieved and inspected: it shows an arid, hilly landscape, scattered low buildings and rubble under a clear sky, with no visible armed seizure, no visible fighting and no visible people carrying weapons, so the footage does not by itself corroborate the seizure. The account gives no source for the report and does not name Sky News Arabia or any other outlet. Yemeni authorities and Ansar Allah media had not confirmed the report when it was published.
