Just after midnight on 7 September 2026, Israeli warplanes struck and destroyed a three-storey residential building owned by Dani Farhat near the "al-Shuyuiyya" (Communism) roundabout in Kfar Rumman, Nabatieh governorate, killing nine people and wounding five, Lebanon's National News Agency reported. NNA's Nabatieh correspondent later named the nine dead: Mohammad Naeem Farhat (Abu Dani), Hassan Mohammad Farhat, Hussein Mohammad Farhat, Zahraa Ayoub, child Maryam Hussein Farhat, child Abdullah Hussein Farhat, child Abbas Hussein Farhat, Mohammad Hussein Farhat, and Fatima Hassan Farhat. Anadolu Agency and AFP/Reuters syndications independently carried NNA's early 9 killed / 5 wounded building account as distinct from the same-town vehicle/medics strand. Lebanon's MoPH Monday EOC issued a conflicting split (house 8 dead / 11 injured in one statement; BBC/AP later cited MoPH house 11/8) — atomic building count stays on NNA's named nine. Exact house coordinates unpublished; town/roundabout-level point.
