On Tuesday 8 September 2026 an Israeli drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced people on Jules Street, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing one Palestinian and injuring at least eleven others, medical sources told WAFA and IMEMC. Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat said it received the body of one slain Palestinian and 11 casualties, including critical cases; IMEMC separately reported at least 12 injured. The dead victim was not named in the WAFA or IMEMC accounts used here. Distinct from the Mawasi child shooting and from the Al-Maslakh south Khan Younis gunfire fatality the same day.
