On the morning of 6 September 2026, Israeli airstrikes in Nabatieh al-Fawqa (Upper Nabatieh), southern Lebanon, killed two people and wounded two, according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health emergency operations center as reported by Anadolu Agency, France 24 (with AFP), Kuwait Times/KUNA, and Arab News. Lebanon’s National News Agency said a strike destroyed part of the long-decommissioned Ghandour Hospital in Nabatieh al-Fawqa; France 24 noted artillery fire afterward hampered rescue work around the hospital site in some local accounts. The ministry’s Sunday preliminary also counted two women killed in Arab Salim and injuries in Nabatieh city and Kfar Rumman; those sites are not re-counted in this Nabatieh al-Fawqa atomic.
