In a post published on 4 October 2026 at about 16:28 UTC, the Israel Defense Forces account wrote that it had eliminated Saqr Nabil Musa Qaisi, whom it calls a Nukhba member of Hamas. According to the post, he entered Israel during the 7 October massacre, later directed the Turkish organisation Deniz Feneri, described by the IDF as presenting itself as a humanitarian aid organisation while tied to senior Hamas figures and to elements of the Turkish leadership, and in recent times and throughout the war carried out what the post calls terrorist activity against Israeli civilians and IDF troops while working to restore Hamas capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The post gives no date, place or method for the operation, carries one image, and states no corroboration. Everything recorded here is the IDF's own account; no independent confirmation was read.

Why it matters

It is the issuing side's own version of a targeted killing during a ceasefire, including the claim that the person operated under an aid identity, which is material to how such operations are described.
