CENTCOM said US forces completed a tenth consecutive night of strikes on Iranian military command centres, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites and air defences; Iranian media reported explosions in Sirik, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Shiraz and Isfahan.

US Central Command announced a new round beginning at about 4 p.m. ET on 20 July 2026 and later said the package had finished near 9 p.m. ET. Al Jazeera relayed the “tenth consecutive night” framing and local explosion reports. This record is the US campaign night as announced, not a site-by-site battle-damage assessment. Oil-tanker incidents in Hormuz the same day are covered only as context where sourced, not as separate confirmed sinkings here.

Verification: Confirmed

Evidence: US attacks Iran for 10th consecutive night, US strikes Iran for ninth day; Iran says two oil tankers immobilised

Confirmed as a public CENTCOM operational announcement; multi-city impact reports are attributed to Iranian media via Al Jazeera.
