A BBC Verify report published on 6 November said satellite imagery taken in November showed excavation at the Garmdareh military base near Karaj and at Shahroud, plus signs of repair at at least 12 other Iranian military sites. It described new roofs at the Kermanshah missile base and cleared damage at Parchin. Analysts said some work may support moving facilities underground, while the purpose of construction near Karaj remains uncertain; the report does not date the works beyond the month of the imagery.
