Israeli forces expelled Palestinian farmers from their land near the evacuated Sanur military camp, built on land belonging to the town of Jaba', south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, and fired tear-gas grenades at them on 18 October 2026, Jaba' mayor Mohammad al-Baddad told WAFA. He said the measures coincided with land-levelling work begun several days earlier by Israeli settlers at the former camp site in preparation for a new outpost, and warned that farmers could lose this year's olive harvest.
