Israeli artillery shelled the Ali al-Taher heights on the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa on 1 October, and troops fired machine guns toward Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district as military vehicles moved through it, Lebanon's official news agency reported. The fire was part of a wider reported wave that also included airstrikes and the demolition of homes in the Tyre district.

Anadolu Agency and Antiwar.com both report the attacks, but both trace to Lebanon's official National News Agency, so they are not independent corroboration. The agency reported no casualties.
