On the afternoon of 11 October 2026, Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was targeted again, with a projectile striking passenger Terminal 4. In a follow-up statement reported by Asharq Al-Awsat, GACA said the attack on the Riyadh airport killed a Pakistani resident and injured 11 other people, who were taken to hospital, and caused material damage still being assessed; SpectreMonitor had relayed the same figures earlier. The Saudi-led coalition said air defences intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile in the vicinity of King Khalid Airport that day. This is distinct from the 10 October KKIA attack toll (evt_5b9a8a7c, ≥13 killed). Yahya Saree claimed responsibility for operations against Riyadh that day.
