The IDF said on 10 October 2026 that sirens sounded for a hostile aircraft infiltration near Arab al-Aramshe and that details were under review. In a later Telegram update the same evening, the IDF said surveillance identified an unknown aerial subject on the Lebanon border after sirens at 19:57, that soldiers were still searching the area, that no suspicious findings had been located so far, and that there were no special home-front instructions. Osint613 separately said the alert was triggered by an unidentified object that crossed from Lebanon and that the IDF had not determined whether it was a bag, balloon or paraglider. On 13 October the IDF said an in-depth investigation found the object was most likely a balloon-like object or a device floating on hot air; it ruled out a drone or UAV, said it could not yet determine the object's origin or purpose, and said it may have been a harmless object that drifted into Israeli territory. The object had still not been located and Home Front Command guidance was unchanged, according to The Times of Israel and Ynet.
