Israel carries out blasts in al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun despite ceasefire framework

This version is a correction.

ATTACK
Location
al-Mansouri / Majdal Zoun area, southern Lebanon
Actors
Israel · Lebanon · Hezbollah
Importance
Major

The Israeli army attacked the southern Lebanese town of al-Mansouri and carried out large blasts in nearby Majdal Zoun, Lebanon’s National News Agency said, with the Majdal Zoun explosion heard as far as Tyre, despite the ceasefire framework and ongoing implementation talks.

Al Jazeera reported the 24 July 2026 incidents as part of a pattern of demolitions and strikes in the south while Lebanese and Israeli officials continued framework talks (next round then scheduled for early August). Israel frames operations as preventing Hezbollah threats; Lebanon and local media frame them as ceasefire violations and forced depopulation near the border. This package is the NNA-reported al-Mansouri/Majdal Zoun day, not a cumulative village destruction tally.
