Kherson Oblast Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin said on the morning of 12 October 2026 that over the past day Russian forces had shelled 44 settlements in the oblast, hitting critical and social infrastructure and residential areas; three apartment buildings, two private houses and cars were damaged and two people were injured. On 11 October a Russian drone attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring a 51-year-old woman, and a drone attacked a 54-year-old man in a village of the Dariivka community. Kherson city military administration head Yaroslav Shanko said Kherson, Antonivka, Komyshany, Sadove and Blahovishchenske came under fire.
