BBC and CNN reported the 15–16 August 2026 wave. Moscow region governor Andrey Vorobyov said air defences and electronic warfare neutralized 187 drones over the region; mayor Sergei Sobyanin described a fire at the Koledino Wildberries warehouse about 25 km from central Moscow. Ukraine’s defence ministry said seven of Wildberries’ ten largest logistics centres had been disabled. Fatality counts in open reporting were six (CNN) to seven (BBC), including five in Rostov, an 83-year-old in the Moscow region, and a woman in Belgorod. Exact launch sites were not published.
