CENTCOM said it completed a ninth consecutive evening of strikes against Iran, targeting military command centres, air defence and coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites and communications networks linked to threats against Hormuz shipping.

US Central Command announced the ninth consecutive night beginning at 7 p.m. ET on 19 July 2026 and later said the package had finished near 10 p.m. ET. Public releases framed the strikes as degrading Iranian capabilities used against commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. This record is the US campaign night as announced, not individual aimpoints inside Iran.
