On the morning of 11 September 2026 Russian drones struck Ukrnafta gas stations in Kyiv’s Troieshchyna (Dniprovskyi / left bank) and Pochaina (Obolonskyi / right bank) areas, killing two people and injuring twelve including a 12-year-old boy and an emergency responder, Mayor Vitali Klitschko and KMVA said. Naftogaz acting chair Serhii Fedorenko and Ukrnafta chair Bohdan Kukura named Troieshchyna and Pochaina; KMVA reported a double-tap on the Obolonskyi/Pochaina station. An air-raid siren sounded around 9:10 a.m. local. Revises an earlier first-pass that recorded only four injured. Distinct from the 10 September Holosiivskyi station strike. Exact street addresses unpublished.

Why it matters

A second-day drone campaign against Kyiv fuel stations with two dead, a child among the wounded, and a reported double-tap marks a deliberate escalation against civilian fuel infrastructure in the capital.
