On 12 September 2026 a Russian drone struck the REALIVE MED medical rehabilitation centre housed in the former Moryak Hotel at 15 Myru Avenue in Chornomorsk, Odesa region, injuring 11 people including six with limited mobility, Ukraine’s president said. Centre director Petro Kovalchuk said the facility was destroyed and patients were evacuated to the city hospital; the centre suspended operations. MFA reporting also noted a destroyed residential house and other hits in Chornomorsk after the 11–12 September strikes.
