Around 16:50 local time on 10 September 2026 Russian forces struck a residential sector on Sumy’s outskirts with two guided aerial bombs (KABs). Sumy OVA head Oleh Hryhorov and SES via Kyiv Post initially reported 11 injured including three children (girls aged 8 and 17, and a 14-year-old boy). Sumy National Police’s 11 September day tally raised the KAB toll to 12 civilians injured including four children (girls 17 and 8; boys 14 and 8), plus named adult ages. An apartment building, about 15 private homes, two stores and vehicles were damaged. Exact streets remain unpublished. Distinct from the 9 September Manufactura mall strike (evt_7c5beacb); a same-day mall re-hit was largely property-only while the mall was closed for repairs.
