Israeli forces conducted a helicopter-borne insertion and wide raid on Yatta, south of Hebron, beginning the evening of 15 September 2026. QudsNen posted native video (~21:49Z 15 Sep) of forces dropped from a helicopter. Al Jazeera English newsfeed (16 Sep) shows forces rappelling from a helicopter onto the roof of a residential building in Yatta. WAFA (Hebron, 16 Sep) corroborates an aerial landing concurrent with a wide raid focused on the Fatuuh neighborhood at dawn Wednesday 16 Sep, saying the raid was ongoing at press time; local sources told WAFA that IDF personnel told some families the operation was framed as military training — IMEMC (16 Sep) second-wires the same training framing and embeds the AJ clip plus its own MP4. Concurrent settler activity reported by WAFA/IMEMC: construction equipment moved to a Khillat al-Homos (Khallet al-Hummus) outpost south of Yatta and the home of Khairi Abu Tahfa stormed; settlers cut and burned the main power cable feeding southern Wadi al-Rakhim, cutting electricity since midnight. A further WAFA dispatch (154062) says that at dawn 16 Sep forces arrested brothers Saleh and Saber Ismail al-Adra from the Huwara area east of Yatta during the ongoing operation.
