UKMTO Warning 175-26, posted by @UK_MTO on 17 October 2026, says the master of a tanker reported being attacked by a rocket-propelled grenade fired from a small boat at 1922 UTC on 16 October 2026, 78 nautical miles northeast of Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia, causing damage to the aft port quarter. The crew were accounted for and safe; a full damage assessment and any environmental impact were unknown at the time of the report. UKMTO did not name the vessel or the attackers. Al Jazeera reported the RPG attack as one of three tankers reported hit since Friday. It is separate from the projectile strike on a tanker 68 NM northeast of Al Jubayl earlier that day (Warning 174-26).
