Al Jazeera put the toll at a 15-year-old killed and around 20 injured; Osint613 later cited 24 wounded, a figure not confirmed by officials, so casualty counts still differ across sources. The IDF said an initial review by soldiers at the scene indicated the blast was likely caused by an unexploded Hezbollah cluster munition that had remained in the area, and that the incident was still under review. Al Jazeera reported the army was investigating whether the munition came from Hezbollah or Israeli forces. The attribution remains unverified.
