Ukrinform, citing the ASTRA Telegram channel, reported that overnight on 11 October 2026 a group of drones struck a Yandex data center in the Russian city of Vladimir and that after analysing photos an ASTRA OSINT analyst concluded the facility in the Energetik neighbourhood had caught fire. ASTRA also reported Yandex Go and related taxi/app outages across Russian cities and in Serbia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia. The Kyiv Independent, citing TASS and Yandex, had earlier reported the Vladimir Oblast data center was completely shut down after a reported drone attack — the third near-consecutive day of strikes on Yandex facilities after Sasovo (Ryazan, 8 Oct) and Kaluga (9 Oct); Yandex Cloud reported power interruptions in availability zone ru-central1-a. War Translated separately said the Vladimir hub was the third of four Yandex hubs hit, leaving one remaining in the Moscow region. Ukrainian officials had not publicly claimed the Vladimir strike in the sources reviewed; KI could not independently verify damage imagery.
