A Russian ballistic missile strike on a defence-industry gathering near Kyiv killed at least 10 people and injured more than 100, Ukrainian officials said, as air-raid sirens sounded over the capital around midday.

Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko and the Kyiv Independent reported a 24 July 2026 daytime ballistic strike that hit an arms/defence-industry exhibition in the Kyiv area (training ground / private complex accounts differ in open sources). President Zelenskyy condemned the attack. Russian state media claimed Ukrainian drone developers and special-services personnel were present; independent confirmation of that roster is not established here. This is distinct from the same day’s Ukrainian deep-strike package against Wildberries logistics near St Petersburg.
