Ukrainian drones struck an Ozon logistics hub in Chapayevsk, Samara Oblast, overnight on 21–22 August, starting a major fire. Ozon said it evacuated more than 500 staff and halted the site; Ukraine’s Defence Ministry later confirmed the strike as the opening blow against Ozon after the Wildberries campaign.

Euromaidan Press and Ukrainska Pravda reported the first confirmed Ukrainian attack to damage and set fire to an Ozon warehouse, in Chapayevsk. Fire Point said FP-1 drones hit one of Ozon’s largest Volga hubs, processing more than 215,000 orders a day. Ozon confirmed a UAV attack on its Samara-region logistics centre, evacuated more than 500 employees, hid goods from the storefront and said orders from the site would be cancelled and refunded. Samara governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said several people were receiving medical treatment; Kommersant later put injuries at four. Distinct from the Novokuibyshevsk refinery fire the same night and from the Orenburg Ozon strike of 23 August. The launch origin was not reported.
