Houthi-run Al-Masirah’s Saada correspondent reported on 9 October 2026 two Saudi airstrikes on the telecommunications network in Kitaf wa al-Buqa and two more on Sahar district. Later the same day (21:06 UTC), TvAlmasirah relayed the Saada correspondent saying Saudi rocket fire was targeting areas in the districts of Kitaf, al-Buqa, Sahar and Al Salem. No independent Saudi confirmation or casualty figures were retrieved for the evening update; the evening report adds Al Salem and a rocket/missile modality to the same governorate day-file.
