The Israeli military said it struck in northern Gaza on 15 September and killed Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad, describing him as a Hamas Nukhba commander who entered through Erez on 7 October. Palestinian open-source posts named Sharif Labad a civil defence worker killed with a child, Mohammad Al-Zeinati, in a Sheikh Radwan strike, and said others were injured. The Israeli military said it was reviewing reports that an uninvolved person was harmed.

Official Israeli military statement identifies Sharif Labad as a Hamas Nukhba commander killed in northern Gaza. Palestinian open-source posts named him a civil defence worker killed with a child in Sheikh Radwan. The two accounts of the same death are incompatible.
