Ukraine's General Staff reported 194 combat engagements on 2 October and said Russian forces launched 1 missile strike and 90 air strikes dropping 275 glide bombs, deployed 9,522 kamikaze drones and fired 2,435 times at Ukrainian settlements and troop positions, including 33 MLRS strikes. The same update put russian personnel losses that day at 1,560 and listed neutralised equipment including 3 tanks, 6 armoured combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, 3 MLRS, 1,645 UAVs and 422 vehicles. The heaviest reported assault activity was on the Kostyantynivka axis with 21 attacks and the Pokrovsk axis with 19.
