Claretta Nijhuis posted on 8 October 2026 that Ukrainian FP-1 strike drones were flying toward what she describes as the largest oil refinery of the Russian armed forces, located in Omsk, and that several explosions had been heard in the city. The post carries a video but gives no date or clock time for the drone flight or for the explosions, names no damaged installation, reports no casualties and cites no source. Whether the drones reached the refinery was not established.

A single personal account is the whole basis for this record. The refinery was not identified by name, no Russian official or company account confirms the explosions, and the video was not checked against them. No casualty or damage figure is reported by the source, so none is stated here.
