Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SESU) and Kharkiv governor Oleh Syniehubov said a Russian missile strike hit near a grocery store in Pisochyn, Kharkiv region, on 11 October 2026, killing three people including a child (a 16-year-old boy, a 19-year-old woman and a 51-year-old woman per prosecutors). Syniehubov first put the injured at 22 via Ukrinform and Suspilne cited National Police at 25; in his daily summary on the morning of 12 October the governor said 28 people were injured in Pisochyn, including girls aged 8, 10 and 13 and a two-year-old boy. This revision adopts the governor's latest official figure of 28, which supersedes the earlier interim counts. The Pisochyn community declared a day of mourning.
