A Russian drone struck the roadway of Kyiv's Northern (Pivnichnyi) Bridge across the Dnipro River on the morning of 4 October 2026, injuring two people, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Emergency services were dispatched and one of the injured was hospitalised. Klitschko later reported that the attack also damaged a heating main, temporarily cutting hot water to parts of the capital's Desnianskyi district. This was the fourth consecutive day that Russian forces targeted bridges across the Dnipro. Kyiv's bridges were already struck on 1, 2 and 3 October amid a campaign against infrastructure in the capital.
