UKMTO Warning 174-26, posted by @UK_MTO on 17 October 2026, says UKMTO received a time-late report from a company security officer of an incident at 0900 UTC on 16 October 2026, 68 nautical miles northeast of Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia, in which a tanker was struck by an unknown projectile. All crew were reported safe and had been evacuated, and no environmental impact was reported at the time. UKMTO did not name the vessel or attribute the attack. A separate attack on another tanker about 78 NM northeast of Al Jubayl later the same day is reported in Warning 175-26.
