On the evening of 19 September 2026, a Russian drone attack in Vyshhorod district, Kyiv Oblast, injured a woman and a child who were hospitalized, Kyiv OVA head Tymur Tkachenko said (Ukrinform 22:10 Kyiv / 19:10 UTC). An educational institution and a bus were damaged; State Emergency Service crews worked the site. On the morning of 20 September 2026, Tkachenko said the child later died in hospital (Ukrinform 10:07 Kyiv / 07:07 UTC; hromadske ~09:20 Kyiv; OBOZ ~09:10 Kyiv; UNN). The woman remains injured and was not reported dead. Kyiv Oblast combined dead with the separate Hlevakha Fastiv-district package is now four (three children + one woman) — Hlevakha fatalities stay on evt_f8c49bf8 and are not merged here. Settlement within Vyshhorod district still unnamed.
