Governor Oleh Syniehubov’s later readout of the morning drone strikes on Kharkiv on 16 October gave two confirmed deaths and 17 people affected: 12 with injuries and five with acute stress reactions. Ukrinform reported hits in Osnovianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Industrialnyi districts, including a market and energy and transport infrastructure. Ten people were hospitalized, two in serious condition. The later confirmed death count differs from the governor’s earlier report of three deaths.
