Israel issued displacement orders for several Gaza areas and then carried out heavy strikes that medical sources said killed at least two people, hitting Bureij, Jabalia, Zeitoun and Tal al-Hawa amid a fragile longer-running ceasefire.

Al Jazeera’s Gaza reporting on 24 July 2026 described evacuation threats for four areas followed by bombardment, including a large fire in Gaza City that civil defence was still fighting. Strikes destroyed homes in Bureij and Jabalia camps and in Zeitoun and Tal al-Hawa; a Zeitoun building strike injured several people per al-Ahli Hospital sources. Local health authorities’ cumulative war toll is cited in coverage but not re-asserted as a new daily total here beyond the “at least two killed” figure for this package. This is an Israel–Gaza kinetic day on the Levant theatre, not a US–Iran campaign event.
