Kyiv police said a drone attack on the morning of October 2 caused a fire on floors 24 and 25 of a residential high-rise in Darnytskyi. They reported a 24-year-old woman killed, a 49-year-old woman hospitalized for smoke exposure and a 33-year-old man with burns in serious condition. The Kyiv Independent describes the same 25-storey building and separates these casualties from the Southern Bridge strikes. GeoConfirmed later relayed the case as a reported Russian Geran strike in the Osokorky neighbourhood, citing giK and this police post, and supplied coordinates 50.391142, 30.628435. That weapon identification and geolocation remain attributed to GeoConfirmed; the repeating accounts do not establish independent confirmation or a second attack.
