On the morning of 15 September 2026 a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle struck a gas station in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district, producing heavy smoke, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said around 08:51 Kyiv time (05:51 UTC), as carried by Interfax-Ukraine and Kyiv Post. The Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA), via RBC-Ukraine, said a drone fell on the gas-station grounds and that one person was injured in the hit; DSNS later confirmed one injured at the Holosiivskyi AZS with the fire extinguished. UNIAN, citing MVS/Kyiv24, reported that after the Holosiivskyi AZS hit, traffic on Saperno-Slobidska Street and Nauky Avenue was partially closed with debris on the roadway — corridor vicinity only; exact station brand and street number remain unpublished. This was the second AZS strike in the capital that morning after the earlier Darnytskyi station impact (evt_bc43a1ad). Site-level reporting keeps Holosiivskyi at 0 killed / 1 injured; Interfax’s contemporaneous “two injured” phrasing referred to the city morning total that already included Darnytskyi, and later city-wide tallies (including Solomianskyi’s six) are not dumped onto this site alone.
