WAFA reports that a drone struck a vehicle in Al-Qarara on 14 October, killing Ahmad Raja Al-Shaer and Basel Nabil Qeshta and injuring a woman. On 15 October, the IDF named men with the same names, spelled Basel Nabil Abd al-Rahman Kashta and Ahmad Raja al-Shaer, and said they were involved in procuring, trading and smuggling weapons and military equipment into Gaza. The IDF described them as an immediate threat to Israeli civilians and troops operating in the Yellow Line area, but its post does not name Al-Qarara or date its operation; the link to WAFA’s strike is based on the matching names.
