A motorman was killed and three other crew members were injured; 13 crew members were evacuated. Kyiv Post carried the same USPA account. Exact berth/port facility within the Odesa region maritime complex is not named in the retained copy.

Verification: Probable

Evidence: Russian attack on civilian cargo ship in Odesa Oblast kills sailor, Russian Strike Hits Liberian Ship in Odesa Port, Killing 1

Probable: Ukrainska Pravda and Kyiv Post both relay the same Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority account, so their agreement is not independent confirmation. That account says a motorman was killed, three crew members injured and thirteen evacuated from a Liberian-flagged cargo ship struck at a port in Odesa Oblast. A later Kyiv Independent post reports the same strike with the same toll of one killed and three injured; it names no vessel, time or official and is therefore an additional account of the same incident, not a second confirmation. The exact port facility is still unnamed.
