Air-defence systems in Saudi Arabia intercepted two ballistic missiles from Yemen aimed at oil-refinery areas near Yanbu on the Red Sea, Greek security sources told Reuters, a day after fresh US strikes on Iran and Trump’s threat of major punishment for Houthi shipping attacks.

Reuters reported the intercepts on 25 July 2026 without independent battle-damage claims on Yanbu facilities. Saudi Arabia is the host defender; the United States is an affected regional stakeholder. This package does not assert a new US strike night on Iran for 25 July.

Verification: Probable
