Russia's Defence Ministry claimed that air defences shot down 604 Ukrainian drones overnight into 13 October 2026 over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Oryol, Kaluga, Tula, Kursk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Rostov and Smolensk regions, the Moscow region, the Stavropol and Krasnodar territories and the Sea of Azov, Suspilne reported. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 417 drones had flown towards the region since the evening of 12 October, most of them neutralised on distant approaches and 65 destroyed on approach to the capital, and that emergency services were working where debris fell, without saying where or whether it caused damage. Ukraine did not comment on these figures in the material reviewed. Related local damage claims in Kaluga Oblast and Nevinnomyssk are recorded separately. The area marks Russia as a whole.
