Overnight into Saturday 26 Sep 2026, Russian Shahed-type drones struck Zaporizhzhia. A private house was destroyed and caught fire; two women (reported ages 42 and 61; acting OVA head Mykhailo Semikin later named Lyudmyla and Vasylina) were recovered dead from the rubble. A 4-year-old boy and a 45-year-old man who were also inside were injured and hospitalized.
